We’ll present chamber music in the round at San Clemente’s beautiful Casa Romantica, in a concert that is sure to be a feast for the ears and the eyes. The program will include works by Brahms, Coleridge-Taylor, (Mendelssohn) Hensel, Vaughan Williams, and Dotzauer. (I won't personally be performing in this concert but many colleagues will including famed oboist Angela Wells on the Dotzauer!)
Dances and Suites features the energetic music from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, as well as the music by LoPresti, Boyer, Mennin and more!
Program:
Beethoven: Symphony No.7th (1st and 2nd movement)
Ashley Petrie: Cave and Canyon (world premiere)
William Grant Still: Miss Sally's Party
Bizet: Carmen Suite No.1 and No.2
